1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and the dealer-branded landing pages operated by Security Sales & Solutions, Inc., doing business as SS&Si Dealer Network (“SS&Si,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. The Site
The Site provides general information about proactive video security solutions powered by the CHeKT platform and the SS&Si Dealer Network, and lets you request information from a dealer in our network. The Site is not a place to enter into a security services agreement; any such agreement will be between you and the relevant dealer separately.
3. Information You Submit
When you submit information through the Site (for example, by completing a contact form), you represent and warrant that:
- The information you provide is accurate and belongs to you, or you are authorized to submit it
- You are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian
- Your submission does not violate any law or third-party right
We process information you submit in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Site for your personal or internal business purposes — such as learning about our network and requesting information from a dealer. You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Access the Site through automated means (including bots, scrapers, or crawlers) without our prior written consent
- Extract, harvest, or compile data from the Site for any purpose other than the purposes described above
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its security features, or the servers or networks that host it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Site
- Impersonate any person, misrepresent your affiliation, or submit false information
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Use the Site to send unsolicited communications
5. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including the SS&Si name and logo, the CHeKT name and logo, software, design, text, graphics, and other materials — are owned by SS&Si, CHeKT, or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for the purposes described in Section 4.
Dealer names, logos, and brand colors that appear on dealer-branded landing pages are owned by the respective dealers and used by SS&Si with their permission as part of the SS&Si Dealer Network marketing program.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of any portion of the Site without our prior written consent.
6. Third-Party Content and Links
The Site contains information about, and links to, products and services offered by CHeKT, our dealers, and other third parties. SS&Si does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of third-party content. Your interactions with any third party — including any dealer you contact through the Site — are solely between you and that third party, and SS&Si is not responsible for any disputes, products, or services provided by them.
7. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS PROVIDED FOR GENERAL EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE OR A WRITTEN AGREEMENT WITH A DEALER.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SS&SI, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE LIMITATIONS ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SS&Si, its affiliates, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Volusia County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated version here. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
13. Miscellaneous
These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and SS&Si regarding the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
