Security Sales & Solutions, Inc., doing business as SS&Si Dealer Network (“SS&Si,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a Florida corporation. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information through this website and our network of dealer-branded landing pages (collectively, the “Site”).
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a contact form on the Site, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Any message or property details you choose to include
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser, device, and operating system details
- Pages viewed, time spent, and referring URLs
- Marketing campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) when present in the URL you used to reach us
- Standard server log data
Cookies and analytics. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, measure aggregate usage, and provide analytics to dealers about visits to their landing pages. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so may affect some Site functionality.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Connect you with the SS&Si dealer associated with the landing page you submitted (the “Matched Dealer”) so they can respond to your inquiry
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Generate aggregate analytics for the Matched Dealer (for example, total page views, lead counts, traffic sources)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising purposes, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.
How We Share Information
With the Matched Dealer. When you submit a contact form, we forward your submission to the Matched Dealer by email and make it available to them through their SS&Si dealer dashboard. The Matched Dealer becomes an independent controller of the information you submitted. The Matched Dealer’s further use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices and our agreement with them.
Dealer use restrictions. Under our agreement with each Matched Dealer, the dealer agrees to use the information you submit solely to respond to your specific inquiry. Dealers are not permitted to add you to marketing lists, newsletters, or other ongoing communications without obtaining separate consent from you.
With service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Site, including:
- Database and authentication: Supabase
- Transactional email delivery: Resend
- Hosting and content delivery: Vercel
- Site analytics
These providers are contractually limited to using information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from authorities, protect our rights or property, or protect the safety of others.
Business transfers. If SS&Si is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on the U.S. state in which you reside, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal information
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate personal information
- Portability — request your information in a portable format
- Opt-out — opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising (we do not engage in any of these)
- Non-discrimination — receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at marketing@ssandsi.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on their behalf.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the business purposes described in this Policy, including responding to your inquiry, providing aggregate analytics to dealers, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or stored on the Site.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults considering security services for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites we do not operate, including dealer websites and CHeKT product pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before submitting information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated policy here and, where required, by other means.
